Japanese Cooking

Cooking is another art to fulfill one's life with healthy and balanced condition. Many of excellent artists are also very good cooker and there are fundamental similarities between cooking and making arts. The workshop introduces basic method of Japanese cooking and its ingredients: rice and miso soup. Japanese cooking became popular in the worldwide, for example Sushi becomes major items for catering in Australia. It is healthy, easy to make and also yummy meal for all ages. Perfect for camping, beach, BBQ and other functional occasions. The workshop will try out to make Onigiri and/or world popular Gomoku-Sushi with Miso soup. As option there's vegetable (or meat) noodle workshop is also available. Timewise workshop will require 1.5 hours includes 1) cook rice: 45 minutes, 2) prep for Sushi: 30 minutes, 3) Miso soup: 15 minutes, and making Onigiri or Sushi: 30 minutes.

Requirements: kitchen facility & utensils.

Material: seasonal vegetables such as potato, onion, mushroom, tomato (or meat if you prefer), rice, miso, vinegar, Japanese fish stock, soy source, Tofu and Nori (sea weed).
